2012
Summer Travel Softball
The Summer Travel program is
open to girls who are interested playing competitive
softball. The season begins June 18th and concludes
with playoffs the last week of July. The 12U and 18U
teams play mostly on Monday and Wednesday nights and
the 14U and 10U teams play mostly on Tuesday and
Thursday nights. This year, there will be games on
July 2 and 3 but none on July 4, 5 or 6. All games
are played in Mansfield and surrounding communities.
Also, the summer teams usually enter one weekend
tournament during the season.
Age divisions are 10U, 12U, 14U and 18U (if we have
enough interest) according to the age guidelines
established by the Amateur Softball Association (ASA)
Girls must participate in the Spring MGSA Softball
League or play for a high school team to be eligible
to tryout for the travel program. Girls must tryout
to be selected for the travel program. The tryouts
will be held in May.
The registration fee is $120 plus uniform costs (if
needed). Uniform costs are $35.00 for a top and
$25.00 for shorts (Payment will be collected after
teams have been selected)
